Boudoir Beauty Photoshoot Parties are small gatherings were ladies dress up, get make up done and hair styled in a fully supportive, relaxed and fun atmosphere. It's sort of like playing dress-up with your best friends, but with professional stylists, in a gorgeous hotel. And then we take your picture! Unlike other boudoir photographers, our parties encourage ladies to cheer each other on. We find that being around your friends--or making new friends--helps to takes the fear out of having your picture taken. Our parties encourage self-acceptance and self-esteem. We want you to come away knowing that you are beautiful TODAY!
A native New Yorker, make-up artist Alicia Smith is known for her creativity and innovation.
A rebellious teenager, she wasn’t allowed to wear make up but of course she developed a passion for it, ultimately winning her mother over. Alicia’s passion turned into a career and she has been painting beautiful faces for over 15 years. Alicia taught herself the basics with books. “My teachers were Sam Fine and Keyvon Aucoine” she says. “Their books The Art of Make Up and Fine Beauty allowed me to learn about make up before there was such a thing as YouTube or social media.” Later on, she took makeup classes with MAC.
Alicia made her professional debut working with plus model and DeVoe Signature Events founder Gwen DeVoe. “Ms. DeVoe produced a full-figured fashion show called Dangerous Curves, and that’s how I got my start. Since then, I’ve worked on weddings, photoshoots, video shoots, hair shows and fashion shows, to list a few. I also retain many private clients.” Alicia’s personal quest is “to help women that are transitioning back into the working world from drug and alcohol addictions. I have been seeking out non-profit organizations that inspire women to live, love, laugh and color the beauty from within. My mantra is to perfect your art, and color the world beautiful…”
Since the goal of Boudoir Beauty Photoshoot Parties is to encourage all women to find their inner diva, we are overjoyed to have Alicia on board. Alicia Smith lives in Brooklyn with her daughter and two small dogs. Alicia’s daughter is allowed to wear make-up.

Deidre is a professional hairstylist from New York, NY. The love for hair and all things beauty run through her Caribbean born blood. Starting out as an assistant to a celebrity hairstylist, she has recently branched out on her own. Her belief is that every woman should feel beautiful. She draws her everyday inspiration from the fashionable women of NYC. There is no hairstyle that she hasn't seen and done during her career. She hopes to one day own a successful beauty empire for women of all color.
